THURSDAY, OCTOBER 13 • 6:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Get a head start on the weekend with this extra night of dancing for early arrivals at our regular Thursday night event at Sundance Saloon. Beginning and intermediate two-step lessons 7:00–7:40, line dance lesson 7:40–8:00, and then open dancing until closing. $10 admission at the door, over 21 with ID. Bus shuttle to/from the host hotel for StompedePass holders.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 14 • 7:30 pm – 1:00 am
Golden Gateway Holiday Inn, 1500 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco
Welcome to our kick-off dance party at the host hotel, the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn, featuring three rooms of dancing! The spacious hotel ballroom offers our usual mix of country-western dance styles, with a fun group particpatory dance called a running set from 8:00 to 8:30, followed by open dancing starting at 8:30. And from 9:00 to midnight you can also visit one of our alternate dance rooms, one featuring line dances, and the other dedicated to west coast swing. $20 admission at the door.

The Regency Ballroom, 1300 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco
Our gala country-western dance at the beautiful turn-of-the-century beaux-arts treasure, the Regency Ballroom, located just two blocks from the host hotel. The ballroom features a huge 3500 square-foot permanent hardwood dance floor, and a balcony to look over all the action! Great music and dancing, a huge silent auction and raffle, outstanding entertainment, and hundreds of the hottest cowboys and cowgirls from all over the continent. Dance exhibitions 8:00–9:00, open dancing and entertainment 9:00–1:00, and now with a second room dedicated to line dancing, and a third room for west coast swing 9:00-12:00. Admission: $45 at the door, $35 in advance (available beginning in September).

Be sure to stay through Sunday evening, so you can kick up your heels at Sundance Saloon. You'll get so caught up in the energy, you'll forget all about your aching feet 'til you limp out the door at the end. Line dance marathon 5:00–7:00 in the Main Room, beginning two-step lessons 5:30–7:00 in the Green Room; then open country-western dancing 'til 11:00, taking time out for a Pat-and-Chris (a.k.a. Jack-and-Jill) dance contest and our infamous Sleazy Shadow contest! $10 admission at the door.
