Hoedown 2019 is the centerpiece event of the four-day Sundance Stompede, an LGBT+ country-western dance weekend with four consecutive nights of dance events and three days of dance workshops, October 31 to November 3, 2019.

The Sundance Stompede
The Sundance Stompede, San Francisco's annual four-day country-western dance weekend for the lesbian-gay-bisexual-transgender community and its friends. For many years the Sundance Stompede has been the largest and most celebrated LGBT event of its kind anywhere, attracting about 700 attendees from all over the country and beyond. The key to its success is no secret: the Stompede is not just about the dancing – it's about connectivity, friendship, and community.

FOUR NIGHTS OF INCREDIBLE DANCE PARTIES
- The Halloween Kick-Off Dance, Thursday, Oct. 31, 6:30 – 11:00 pm, at Sundance Saloon, 550 Barneveld Ave., San Francisco, CA. Admission $12.
- The Welcome Dance, Friday, Nov. 1, 7:30 pm – 1:00 am, at the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn, 1500 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, CA. Admission $35.
- Hoedown 2019, Saturday, Nov. 2, 7:30 pm – 1:00 am, at the Regency Center, 1300 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, CA. Admission $60 at the door, $50 in advance.
- The Stompede Ball, Sunday, Nov. 3, 5:00 – 11:00 pm, at Sundance Saloon, 500 Barneveld Ave., San Francisco, CA. Admission $12.
THREE DAYS OF INSPIRING DANCE WORKSHOPS in up to four simultaneous rooms. Dynamic first-rate instructors from all over the country. Two-step, waltz, swing, line dances and more. All levels, from beginning to advanced. Includes premium workshops with a focus on small-group instruction.

- All dance workshops take place at the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn, 1500 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco, CA. Day pass for one day is $40.
AND MORE! The Sundance Stompede also features exhibition dance performances by groups from all over the country, and numerous social events throughout the weekend. Attendees can register for the entire weekend for $169 which includes all events and workshops.
The Sundance Stompede is produced by the non-profit organization, the Sundance Association for Country-Western Dancing, which promotes country-western dancing in the LGBT community in San Francisco. The Sundance Stompede (including Hoedown 2019) is produced entirely by volunteers, with no paid staff.
